Clear Capital lands aerospace firm at
Cambridge facility
13th July 2026
London-based Clear Capital has agreed a letting with Avic Cabin Systems at its newly-refurbished, mid-tech facility in Cambridge.
The international aerospace firm has taken a long-term lease to occupy around 22,000 sq ft of workspace at Novus, in a deal being billed as one of the city’s largest office lettings so far this year.
Avic Cabin Systems was formed in 2018, and has a product portfolio comprising essential features of commercial aircraft cabin interiors.
Located on Pembroke Avenue, Novus features a double-height warehouse design, 6m clear height, vaulted ceilings, and two electric loading doors. The EPC A-rated development also includes PV panels to the roof, 60 parking spaces, 22 cycle spaces, EV charging stations and end-of-travel facilities.
Clear Capital is a London-based real estate investment firm specialising in value-add property investment and secured real estate lending. The firm acquires underutilised assets where targeted asset management can unlock long-term value.
Oliver Donne, founder and chief executive at Clear Capital, said: “The letting reinforces our conviction in the UK market. Despite wider market uncertainty, high-quality space remains in short supply. “The letting has generated significant capital appreciation while adding a high- quality, income-producing asset to our portfolio, and we are actively looking to acquire similar opportunities with value-add potential.”
Geroge Craig, partner at Bidwells, added: “We worked closely with Clear Capital from the outset, advising on the refurbishment of this is strategically-located building, and we are we are pleased to have secured a strong tenant for this high-quality space and to have helped deliver one of the top-five largest lettings of this type in the region this year.”
